If doing extensive train travel, certain items might also be required.  Soap dishes, and other toiletries are nice to freshen up, since traveling can sometimes leave one feeling dirty.  Also newer materials are being used for quick drying towels.  These towels are designed to dry a user effectively, but to also air out completely, avoiding bacteria growth while stored.  Lastly (and more than just for train travel), since most bags look alike, it is a good idea to use creative and brightly colored tags on your baggage.  This will help you spot your bags easily should they go missing.

Buses became motorized in the early 20^th century. With this, the prevalence and usage of buses became very widespread. Buses are used in many countries and come in so many shapes and sizes and types that sometimes it becomes rather tough to get the right kind of bus for your company or family. There are many advantages of bus travel. It is not only cheap and reliable, but it is convenient to connect small towns and cities that are not linked by the rail network. This is also why these are so popular the world over. There is obviously the chance of some confusions and middle class nightmares due to absence of seat reservations. But it also gives the scope to interact with a motley crew of travelers. These are some of the reasons why flying is so popular in a country of huge distances like the US, where saving time is an essential ingredient when saving money.
